Working with Physical Conditions & Recovery A Deeper Exploration
Chronic pain, discomfort and physical tension are often the body’s way of communicating, a call for attention and care. Rather than suppressing these signals, somatic therapy and holistic bodywork provide a space to listen, explore and integrate what the body is expressing, supporting both relief and long-term well-being.
Whether you're dealing with migraines, TMJ, postural imbalances, back pain, muscular tightness or other chronic conditions, your body holds patterns shaped by movement, stress, past experiences and trauma. These patterns affect not only how you feel, but how you think, relate and move through life.
Through a combination of empathic hands-on bodywork, somatic therapy, movement practices and nervous system regulation, I guide clients in reconnecting with their body’s intelligence and self-healing abilities.
Many clients begin this work seeking relief from chronic pain or discomfort. But as tension softens and long-held patterns release, something deeper often unfolds. Physical symptoms are rarely just mechanical. They can be a doorway to reconnecting with deeper layers of oneself. They can be a gateway to greater self-awareness and personal growth.
Somatic bodywork supports more than symptom relief. It creates an opening for embodied change, bringing clarity, emotional balance and a renewed sense of vitality.
Beyond Symptom Relief: Reclaiming Movement, Ease & Freedom of Choice
Your body is naturally designed for healing, resilience and self-repair. With the right support, it doesn’t just manage symptoms, it restores balance, flow and vitality.
By working with your body, not against it, you can unlock inner strength, activate your innate healing abilities and move beyond symptom management. Somatic Learning supports lasting well-being by cultivating ease, resilience and deeper presence in everyday life.
While physical relief may be the first step, many clients experience unexpected shifts and greater clarity. They feel lighter, more connected to themselves and more aligned with what truly matters to them.
My holistic approach draws from several complementary modalities. In hands-on, one-on-one sessions, we explore which tools are most beneficial for you and your process:
The Pantarei Approach
A process-oriented somatic bodywork method integrating touch, breath and dialogue to support body awareness, emotional integration and nervous system regulation.
Somatic Integration & Emotional Release
Body-centered work supporting the processing and release of stored emotional tension in the body through awareness, breath and therapeutic touch.
Liebscher & Bracht Osteopressure & Movement Therapy
A specific form of hands-on bodywork that works on defined points on bones and fascia to influence pain signaling. In addition to manual osteopressure, specific exercises are provided to reduce excessive muscular and fascial tension and support longer-lasting effects.
Myofascial Release & Fascial Work
Hands-on bodywork techniques inspired by the work of Ida Rolf, founder of Rolfing, and the Anatomy Trains concept by Thomas Myers. This work focuses on the fascial network to release restrictions and imbalances and improve mobility and structural balance.
Trigger Point Therapy & Structural Alignment
Manual bodywork techniques that address localized muscular tension to improve movement and reduce referred pain.
Trauma-Informed Work
Somatic work emphasizing safety, nervous system regulation and gradual integration of stress and trauma patterns. My trauma-informed work is strongly influenced and inspired by the Pantarei Approach, Somatic Experiencing, and the work of Gabor Maté and Peter Levine, aiming to create the safest space possible for emotional regulation and embodied integration.
Feldenkrais-Inspired Techniques
Mindful movement practices that support neuromuscular re-education and improved coordination.
Deep Tissue Massage & Direct Release Techniques
Targeted manual techniques addressing deeper muscular and connective tissue tension.
Massage Therapy Techniques
Therapeutic massage supporting muscular balance, circulation and physical relaxation.
An Integrated, Body-Led Approach to Pain & Physical Recovery
This part of my work focuses on how physical change unfolds in practice.
I work directly with muscular and fascial tension, joint mobility, posture, movement patterns and breath. Sessions are guided by what your body shows in the moment, rather than by fixed protocols or standardized techniques.
Sessions combine hands-on work with movement and careful pacing. The focus is on creating the right conditions for release without force and supporting gradual structural reorganization over time. When useful, I offer simple, individualized practices to support integration between sessions.
I look forward to meeting you and listening to what your body has to say.
