Somatic Therapy & Bodywork
in Berlin
by André Laubner
My work as a somatic practitioner in Berlin centers around supporting people in reconnecting with the wisdom of their bodies and their inner strength and resources through somatic therapy and holistic bodywork.
When touch is used as a language, it becomes an embodied experience and a way to feel safe in your skin. From this place, stuck emotions, trauma and physical tension can begin to release.
In our first session, we take the time to listen and explore together what best supports you and your process.
-
Supporting people on their journey of personal growth has been my passion for over a decade. Since, the core of my work remains rooted in somatic therapy and the Pantarei Approach.
Somatic learning is a process of deepening your body-mind connection and awareness. It can aid in integrating the past and coming back into a deeper relationship with yourself on an embodied level.
Over the years, I have seen how this work naturally extends beyond physical, mental and emotional well-being, touching deeper layers of expanded states of consciousness and human potential.
In response to this, I have expanded my one-on-one somatic work in Berlin through workshops and guided fasting processes, as well as individualized supplementation recommendations and individually tailored nutritional guidance. I also offer psychedelic integration sessions and work with carefully chosen, self-developed technologies, such as the Satori LSV Journey, that support body-mind integration and the expansion of ordinary states of consciousness without the use of substances.
This evolution has led to the Satori Institute, a space in Berlin where somatic therapy, holistic bodywork, trauma integration, and the exploration of expanded states come together.
Everything you value about my work as a somatic practitioner still forms the foundation and is now supported by a wider range of tools, as well as more space to grow.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey.

Somatic learning is a way of reconnecting with the wisdom of the body, mind and unique ways of being through somatic therapy and holistic bodywork. It helps us feel, sense and trust ourselves more deeply; supporting nervous system regulation, emotional healing, trauma release and recovery from chronic pain or physical conditions.
This journey of self-discovery and growth weaves together empathic touch, verbal communication, mindfulness and coaching to foster self-development, resilience and a greater sense of well-being. At the core of my practice is the body-mind connection as a powerful gateway to lasting change, both physically and emotionally.
My approach is holistic and client-centered, combining touch, movement, breath and coaching to guide each individual through a tailored learning process. Rooted in the Pantarei Approach, I support people in cultivating self-awareness, resilience and deep trust in their body’s wisdom.
Within the Satori Institute, this process expands beyond somatic therapy and bodywork, embracing heightened perception, expanded awareness and integration work with non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Whether through hands-on bodywork, nervous system regulation or immersive sensory experiences, each session is an invitation to explore and rediscover your natural flow.
While my work is deeply grounded in the body, it also acknowledges the interconnectedness of physical, mental and expanded dimensions of human experience, allowing for a holistic approach to healing and self-exploration.
In my practice, touch is a language and an invitation to feel safe, seen and fully at home within yourself.

Each session is a unique, hands-on experience, tailored to your needs. Whether you're seeking relief from physical pain, emotional balance, nervous system regulation or support with a specific life theme.
My approach integrates somatic therapy, holistic bodywork, coaching, mindfulness and work with expanded or holotropic states. This way, I support you to reconnect with your body’s wisdom, resilience and natural flow.
I fully trust that the ability to navigate life’s challenges is already inside you. Somatic learning is not just about shifting old patterns, it is a space to learn about yourself, your body and how you relate to life. By inviting openness, curiosity and safety, we create room for healing, integration, and growth.
My work is rooted in the Pantarei Approach, which emphasizes the unique strengths and resources of each person. Rather than following a rigid method, each session is shaped by what emerges in the moment, allowing for a deeply personal and intuitive experience.
1. Arriving & Setting the Intention
We begin with a conversation to check in. Who are you, what brings you here and what would you like to explore. ✔ What patterns, emotions or physical sensations are present? ✔ Where do you feel stuck or disconnected? ✔ How can we create space for more ease and awareness?
Each session is client-led. I meet you where you are.
2. Listening to the Body
Your body holds experiences, memories and deep intelligence. Together, we observe how thoughts, emotions and physical sensations are connected.
✔ Where does your body feel tight, numb or in pain? ✔ What sensations arise when we bring awareness to different areas? ✔ How do breath, movement and touch influence your experience?
Rather than forcing change, we listen and allow. Somatic therapy deepens mind-body awareness and supports regulation.
3. Hands-On Somatic Bodywork & Exploration
Each session is shaped by your needs and what unfolds. My work may include: ✔ Hands-on Bodywork: releasing and restoring ✔ Breathwork: supporting relaxation ✔ Movement & postural awareness ✔ Somatic coaching & dialogue ✔ Holotropic states & neuro-entrainment
This is not about fixing, it’s about rediscovering what is already within you. Some sessions are calming, others bring awareness to long-held patterns. In each, we meet whatever arises with honesty and compassion.
4. Integration & Closing
We take time to ground and integrate the experience. ✔ Stillness to let the body settle ✔ Reflections and insights ✔ What do you need to bring this into your life?
There is no pressure to understand everything. Sometimes, simply feeling is enough.
5. After the Session
Shifts may unfold over hours or weeks. You might notice: ✔ A greater sense of ease and presence ✔ Reduced tension or mental overactivity ✔ Increased emotional clarity ✔ A deeper connection to your needs and intuition
Growth happens as space opens.
Final Thought

Final Thought:
The Best Way to Know Is to Experience It
Somatic therapy isn’t about diagnoses or fixing. It’s about listening, feeling, and returning to what’s already within you.
If something in you feels drawn to this, trust that. You don’t need to have all the answers, just the willingness to listen. The first session is an invitation: to explore, reconnect and discover what’s possible.
Somatic Therapy & Bodywork – André Laubner
Moving Through Mental and Emotional Challenges
Many people notice that making sense of their past is helpful, yet something deeper remains untouched. Even when insight is present, when understanding is clear, there can still be a subtle distance between what we know and what we actually feel.
Sometimes, even after therapy, reflection or personal development work, certain patterns persist, emotions resurface or a quiet sense of disconnection lingers beneath the surface. It can feel as though something important has been understood, but not fully integrated.
Somatic therapy invites a different kind of conversation. One that doesn’t just happen in the mind, but through the body. It shifts the focus from analysis to direct experience.
Your body holds experiences waiting to be felt, expressed and integrated. When we listen to our bodies, not with effort, but with openness, tension softens, emotions move and clarity begins to emerge in a way that feels lived rather than conceptual.
This process isn’t about pushing through or trying harder. It’s about allowing. Allowing what is already there to be met with presence and curiosity.
As you reconnect with yourself in a way that feels intuitive and natural, confidence grows, energy returns and the path ahead becomes clearer and more grounded.
Somewhere inside, you may already sense this truth: change happens when we stop chasing it and instead create space for it to unfold.
If something in you resonates with this, trust it. Explore what somatic therapy can offer.
Working with Physical Conditions & Recovery
When pain lingers, when tension feels unshakable, when a physical condition limits your movement and free expression in life, it can feel like your body is working against you. Chronic discomfort, painful conditions or imbalances don’t just affect your body, they shape your mood, your energy and how you move through the world.
But what if these sensations weren’t just obstacles, but signals, your body’s way of asking for attention and care?
Somatic therapy and holistic bodywork offer a way to listen rather than resist. They support your body’s self-healing capacity instead of fighting or suppressing the signals.
I use a tailored blend of approaches including somatic bodywork like the Pantarei Approach, trauma-sensitive techniques, and holistic modalities such as Liebscher & Bracht therapy, Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, massage therapy and movement re-education. We work together with your body’s natural intelligence to release tension, restore mobility and build resilience.
Healing isn’t just about relieving symptoms. It’s about reclaiming your innate strength, activating your self-healing capacity and reconnecting with yourself on an embodied level.
As your body regains ease and flow, you may also discover a renewed sense of clarity, energy and well-being.
Let’s explore together what works for you and what your body is truly saying.
Psychedelic Preparation and Integration Sessions
through Somatic Bodywork and the Satori LSV Experience
Psychedelic journeys with plant medicines or expanded states evoked through breathwork or neuroentrainment can open powerful inner landscapes. They may reveal deep insight, stir forgotten emotions or awaken awe, connection and a sense of oneness that stays with you long after the experience ends. They can also feel unsettling, bringing vulnerability and fear of stepping into the unknown. The experience itself is only part of the journey.
Preparation matters as much as integration. The deeper potential of these states unfolds when approached with intention and readiness. A grounded preparation process helps your system feel safe and open, creating space for insight to emerge. Integration is where lasting change begins: what you’ve seen and felt settles and weaves into your body, choices and way of living.
Somatic bodywork offers an embodied path for both preparation and integration. Through touch, breathwork, presence and attunement to your rhythm, your body becomes part of the process, helping insights to land in a way that’s lived, not just remembered. In individual sessions, we explore what your system needs — whether you're preparing or seeking support afterward. We co-create a space where you can meet yourself through somatic hands-on work, nervous system regulation or the Satori LSV system, a multisensory technology guiding you into non-ordinary states without substances. Through flickering hypnagogic light, immersive sound and vibration, it evokes clarity, insight, and integration.
If you're preparing, or if something in you is still moving and calling to be met, this is a space to land. To reconnect. To begin.
Please note: I do not provide or encourage the use of psychedelic substances. This offering is intended as harm reduction and integration support.
My story
Personal growth and supporting others in theirs has been at the heart of my life for over 10 years. As a young adult, I suffered from depression, panic attack and obesity. For years, I fought until I began to listen to my body and soul. That choice changed something fundamentally.
Discovering Somatic Therapy and the Pantarei Approach marked a turning point in my life. Not as a solution, but as the beginning of a different way of relating to myself, to life and to my experience.
To feel oneself deeply is to connect with the core of one's existence. In that moment, we find clarity, purpose, and the true freedom of being.

A grounded way to come home to yourself
The Pantarei Approach is a form of somatic bodywork that combines empathic touch, movement and communication to help reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom and self-healing abilities. It supports you in navigating life’s challenges with greater ease, clarity, resilience and authenticity by releasing stuck emotions and deepening your connection with yourself.
For me, this approach is far more than a technique. Over the years, it has become a deeply personal philosophy that shapes how I relate to myself, life’s challenges, my clients and the world.
It’s rooted in the understanding that we are all unique and that we can best navigate life’s challenges when we are fully connected to and embody this uniqueness. Healing and integration happen naturally when we meet our experiences with care and curiosity, welcoming all parts of ourselves and our unique experiences, even those that are difficult, suppressed or abandoned.
Often, when we reconnect with our essence and body in this way, we discover that they already hold the answers to our challenges. What once felt like our greatest weakness can reveal itself as a powerful strength and asset, helping us navigate life’s challenges.
The Pantarei Approach is built on a deep respect for individuality, personal choice and the body–mind connection. No two journeys are the same and the work honors that by offering a compassionate, flexible and non-judgmental space for your unique process. By reconnecting with the body in a safe space and integrating our past, we can release stuck emotions, trauma, anxiety and physical tension, freeing up energy to create the life we want.

Whether you’re navigating chronic conditions, emotional struggles or simply longing for a deeper connection with yourself, this approach offers a grounded and life-affirming way to come home to who you are.
For me, it’s not only about overcoming challenges, it’s about living in alignment with who you truly are, with grace, connection and purpose.
It has been a meaningful part of my own journey and I’m honored to share it with you, supporting you to walk your path with resilience and joy.

Trauma-Informed & Trauma-Sensitive Somatic Bodywork with the Pantarei Approach
Sometimes the past lives in the body long after the moment has passed.
“Trauma is not what happens to us, but what happens inside of us.” – Gabor Maté
Trauma can shape how we live, love, and make sense of the world, often leaving deep and lasting imprints.
In my trauma-informed and trauma-sensitive somatic bodywork sessions, I work with the guiding principles of the Pantarei Approach. I am also deeply inspired by the work of Gabor Maté and Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing. When we relate to the effects of trauma within a Pantarei process, the focus is not on “treating” trauma or the trauma itself, but on the person - their unique way of being - and supporting them to integrate past experiences so that hope, meaning and strength can emerge, even in the darkest moments. I meet people as whole human beings, knowing they are far more than what they have lived through.
Together, we explore how you can reconnect with your body and emotions in a safe, grounded space, supporting you in returning to your natural sense of wholeness and uniqueness.
In these sessions, you may begin to release the need to push painful memories away and instead meet them as part of your story. Physical self-awareness is key to this process. When you learn to approach your body with curiosity rather than fear, the grip of the past begins to soften. This journey can allow trauma survivors to let go, digest, and remember their inner strength — often so much greater than they ever imagined.
I believe that wounds created in connection with others are best integrated in connection. Through the grounded, empathetic presence of another person. This way, clients can begin to regain trust in connection with themselves and others, feeling at home in their bodies again.
My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, build resilience and shape a life that reflects who you truly are. The Pantarei Approach offers a gentle and empowering way to turn past wounds into sources of strength and confidence, helping you move through life with renewed purpose and integrity.
Change begins with awareness - of your sensations, your breath and how your body moves through the world. Once you meet yourself, your physical body and your sensations with curiosity rather than fear, something shifts. Somatic learning invites you to befriend your body and your past, fostering a deeper sense of resilience, clarity, and trust in yourself and others.
If you’re ready to explore this path, I’d be honored to walk it alongside you.

“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves, ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.” – Vicki Harrison
Death is an inseparable part of life. When the loss of a loved one arrives, grief can feel disorienting, heavy and at times unbearable. And yet, life continues — often asking us to find a way forward when our world has shifted.
In this tender space, I offer guidance and support, walking alongside you as you navigate your own path through grief. Each person’s way of mourning is unique. There is no right tempo, no fixed direction. My role is to accompany you as you find your own rhythm, your own strength and the quiet resilience that allows you to grieve in your own way.
This process is not about “getting over” loss. It’s about finding a way to live with it, slowly regaining a sense of connection, meaning and appreciation for life itself.

I work with a wide range of tools to support my clients in the most individualized way possible.
I see holistic bodywork, somatic therapy and physical recovery as holistic processes, physical, emotional and sometimes psycho-spiritual, definite and always deeply personal. We are far more than biological machines that learn to think.
Over the years, I’ve studied a variety of bodywork approaches from different traditions and disciplines, integrating them intuitively depending on what each person needs in the moment. I provide an individually tailored process.
Alongside the Somatic Bodywork approach, coaching and mindfulness elements, here are some of the methods I also incorporate into my work:
Liebscher & Bracht Therapy – Pain Specialist
A manual technique using targeted “osteopressure” — pressing specific points on the fascia-rich membrane surrounding the bones. This helps reset pain patterns in the brain and release muscular-fascial tension. The method is especially effective when combined with fascia-specific stretches and foam rolling.
After learning the exercises during your session, you can implement them at home with support from Liebscher & Bracht’s videos, personally selected for your individual needs. Active participation is a vital part of the process and contributes significantly to long-term results.
This method can support relief from:
Joint, muscle, or tendon pain
Back, neck, and shoulder tension
Migraines, headaches
Tennis elbow, tendinitis, carpal tunnel
Teeth grinding, jaw tension, facial pain
Period pain
Tinnitus
Deep Tissue Massage & Fascia Therapy – Myofascial Release
A powerful, hands-on method to release deep-seated restrictions in the fascial system. Fascia is the web of connective tissue that surrounds and supports your muscles — when restricted, it can create pain, stiffness, or imbalance.
Through a combination of deep tissue massage and fascia-focused techniques, I work to restore balance and alignment in your body. This method is especially helpful for chronic tension, movement limitations, or structural imbalances.
Triggerpoint Therapy
Myofascial trigger points are localized muscle hardenings that are sensitive to pressure and can cause referred pain.
A Triggerpoint Therapy session systematically targets and reduces these points. The therapeutic effect can often be felt immediately.
What is the
“Satori, a term from Zen, describes a shift in awareness, a moment of deep insight where understanding moves beyond thought and becomes embodied.”
Institute for Expanded States and Somatic Learning
Working with many clients in somatic therapy over the years, I have seen how this work naturally extends beyond physical, mental and emotional well-being. Again and again, it touches deeper layers of perception, awareness and human potential.
This organic evolution of my work led me to co-found the Satori Institute in Berlin.
The Satori Institute grows directly out of my one-to-one practice. It is not a departure from somatic work, but a continuation of it, creating room for experiences and inquiries that go beyond the individual session while remaining grounded in safety, presence and embodiment.
At the heart of the Satori Institute lies a profound vision: to create a place where the exploration of expanded states of consciousness and embodied learning come together.
The Satori LSV Experience
Light Sound Vibration
Journey
Today’s hyper connected world, constant screen time and daily stress can leave your mind scattered, anxious, or mentally drained.
The Satori LSV Experience is a guided, multisensory journey into expanded states of awareness, without the use of substances. Designed as a legal, grounding, and deeply personal tool, it helps you access states of inner coherence, clarity and insight.
Through the precise synchronization of flickering hypnagogic light, immersive soundscapes and vibroacoustic stimulation, your nervous system is invited into a profound reset. It’s a sensory symphony for your whole being, calming the overactive mind, activating creative flow states and opening the door to emotional release and integration.
Inclusivity & Accessibility
Everyone Is Welcome
At the heart of my practice is a deep belief in the unique beauty of every being and in personal freedom and choice. For me, diversity and the uniqueness of each individual is part of the beauty of life, in all its expressions and colors. You are welcome here as you are.
My practice is an affirming space for LGBTQIA+ people and for People of Color. I warmly welcome queer, trans and gender diverse people, as well as people affected by racism. I strive to create a respectful, consent based, trauma informed space, so you can arrive with what is real, without having to hide parts of yourself. I’m here to meet you where you are and to support your process in a way that fits you.
Social Price Model
I want the benefits of somatic bodywork to be accessible, not only for people with financial ease. I keep a limited number of social price slots each month for people with low or no income. If money is a barrier for you right now, please reach out. We can explore a reduced rate or sliding scale that feels workable and fair for both of us.
